The week from Hell

This has literally been the week from hell. I have been on call at my job, and that has its pitfalls, but yesterday was horrendous. With projects to manage, I got hit with more than a dozen pages, with about half of them happening within a five minute period.

It's funny sometimes the things you have to do for family. I am sworn to secrecy, but I had to wake up at the crack of dawn (literally) this morning, to do something for family. It's not something I agree with, and I'm certainly not very comfortable about it, but, it was one of those situations where I was the only hope. I just hope I never have to go through this again. And I hope that I don't get nightmares about this, but I suspect I will.

I haven't had much time this week to keep up with what's going on in the world. I know that the president spoke to the interested earlier in the week. I say the interested, because I wasn't, and I suspect only the interested actually paid attention. There really isn't a whole lot that this administration can say that would gain my interest, except that maybe the president and his cabinet are resigning. Unfortunately that probably won't happen. Perhaps, with any luck, he will be impeached.

If anyone knows anything about data modeling, I may be hitting them up. My homework is starting to kick my butt, and I have to get at least a 'B' in this class.

Well, I have to go for now. I can't wait to get out of this place and go back home. It's creeping me out, and I am hungry. Apart from the free WiFi, (not really free, someone just didn't set up the security on their router), I'd rather not be here at all.
